Chapter 3 - Old Acquaintance?

The time just seems to stand still for tat moment as the 2 old friends reunited.
Finally Clara spoke. "It's been so long.. Hasn't it it? Ald?"
Stunned and surprised. Zaph struggled for control before blurting out. " Yes. Hasn't it? "
The rest converged together around them, all looking puzzled with them starin at each other.
Zaph snapped out of his thoughts and quickly give instructions.
"Ok people, we are gonna set up a camp here and rest for the night.
2 guards at a time with a hourly rotation."
"Yes Sir!" As everyone hurried to set up.

Even in the darkness, the camp was set up swiftly and quietly.
A occasional chuckle was heard as they whispered lame corny jokes to each other to pass the time.
Everyone ususally guards together, with no one sleeping.
Cohesive bonding and a higher security was provided this way,
Zaph usually joins in but tonight he is with the new guest.

Not far from the distance.. the two strangers strolled silently around the camp.
"So how have you been?" Asked Zaph.
"Good.. How about you?" Replied Clara.
"Dodging bullets and bombs.. " Chuckled Zaph. Realising his joke seems meaningless ,
he quickly put on a straight face. Realising his priorities.
Zaph quickly changed his conversation topic.
"Clara.. Right now, you're now officially under our protection. everything you do,
u must report to me or any members of the party even when you need to use the ladies.
Find BOR or Cat to accompany you."
"How about if i need sex? Do i look for you or the others?" Clara cut in.
"Yes.. I mean... HUH?! What?" Choked Zaph almost slippin on the wet vegetation.
"Haha.. I am jux joking with u Ald.." Laughed Clara.
"I just couldn't take it when you talk with all straight face and stuff" continued Clara.
"You never did.." whispered Zaph in his breathe as he recalled the past.
A moment of silence caught them in this uneasiness.
"Thought i could never see you again." Said Clara breaking the silence.
"I thought so too." Replied Zaph.

The pair chatted on through the night with occasional laughters and giggles.
From a distance a pair of eyes watches the camp wirily.
A grin came upon his face as he watches Zaph grin.
"Been a long time since i saw that grin of yours old friend."
Turning away, the Stranger disappeared into the darkness only to face a pair of laser pointing rifles aiming at his face.

Back at the camp.
Cat was fiddling with her rifle. Those around could sense that jealousy oozing out from her being.
"Oh come one kitty.. It just old friends having a chit chat." Said BOR as she sat next to Cat.
"I know, BOR." Sighed Cat as she eyed the shawdowy pair in the darkness.
"Somehow someway something don't feels not right." Continued Cat.
"It wouldn't feel right if 'your man' was taken by someone else right in front of you." Chuckled DOM as he joined the pair.
"Very Funny, Dom" Stared Cat.
"Heh.." Grinned DOM.
"How's the perimeter radar setting up?" Said Zaph as he walked towards them with Clara.
"Everything is in working order, Sir." DOM replied as all 3 of them stood up.
"J will inform us if anything moves within 500metres of our camp." Continued DOM.
"Thanks. Stay vigilant at all times." said Zaph before walking off.
"Yes Sir!" Replied the 3.

"Oh come on J, Dun be such a huss. When we get back rem to call that Melissa ok?" Said Snake.
"Oh hush.. I know what i am doing." Resnorted J.
All of a sudden the radar screen fuzzled and went blank.
"Oh Shit." " Guys and Girls.. I think we are goin to have a wild party with new company." Radioed J.
"I think the mic is jammed too." said Snake tapping his mic.
"Then we better hurry n inform the others." Said J and running off.

Surrounding the camp. Came 40 soldiers donned in blacks wif night visions. signaling each other to be ready.
